thriller moodboard and codes and conventions

This is our thriller moodboard, we focused mainly on horror thrillers for this moodboard. The reason we used horror thriller pictures is because we are heavily influenced by them and plan to make our thriller in the genre.
 The usual codes and conventions of a horror thriller:

• In a horror thriller there is always a internal/external threat, somthing for the characters to either defeat or be defeated by. e.g. The Thing (1982)
• There is usually a love interest of some kind. e.g.Eden Lake (2008)
• There is usually a final girl who is more intellegant compared to the other females in the film.  She is the last surviving character. She seems to be boyish in character and usually has brown hair. e.g. Denise Wllis,House of 1000 corpses (2003)
• There is usually a 'dark house' senario where the setting is in a isolated area/house where the mail horror occurs e.g. woman in black.
