One of our main influences is the use of masks to hide identity to create a intimidating character. we used the v for vendetta mask as our main antagonist.
TThe reason why we chose to use this mask is due to using recent news as a stimulus. on the 6th November 2013 a group of public demonstrators fired fireworks at Buckingham Palace, while the Queen was having a meeting with presidents of different countries. Another reason why we used this mask is because it is based on Guy Fawkes,one of the most well known terrorists in English history.
Another of our influences is Eden lake we use emotion of a man and his love for a woman in our opening for our thriller and this is a key example of the relationship we want to express through our opening we reference a key scene in our opening in Eden lake, Michael fassbender opens a ring box to show that he wants to propose we will use a ring as a prop to evoke emotion towards the protagonist as he realises that his girlfriend to be fiance has been brutally murdered.
